Musculoskeletal diagnostics encompasses all examinations of the muscular and skeletal system. Besides x-rays, the techniques used include magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) and computed tomography (CT), as well as supplementary use of scintigraphy and sonography.

Computed tomography permits precise imaging of the bone structures.

It is possible to produce detailed images of joints together with bone marrow, ligaments and tendons using MRT.

The results of accidents, early signs or subsequent consequences of inflammation and tumours are depicted exactly, no matter whether the problems are in three small finger joints or e.g. in the shoulder.
